Hi Reader!!

​I'm doing a live podcast interview tomorrow for the first time ever.​

But first, storytime. :)

Just over a year ago, I was staying at a hostel in Belfast, Northern Ireland - when someone working there asked me to move.

Jin was volunteering at the hostel, which is a cool way to travel around in exchange for free accommodations, by the way.

A few things immediately stood out to me about Jin:

1) He was super warm and friendly.​
We got along right away!

2) We're the same age (mid-30s).​
It was refreshing to see more confirmation that it's not just 20-somethings out there traveling solo and staying in hostels.

3) He also played guitar!

You might not know this, but I'm a classically trained singer, and I play guitar myself.

So when I'm traveling, I love to join in on jam sessions and play music with people.

It's one of the quickest ways to make friends!

I also immediately connected with his story.

He's a gifted photographer and videographer, and he told me he really wanted to become a full-time paid content creator/influencer so he can keep traveling.

Once I saw his work, I knew it was just a matter of time before his work "hit."

And it did.

He had about 900 followers on Instagram when we met in march of 2024.

Now?

Today?

He has over 17,000 Instagram followers.

And he's agreed to let me interview him and ask him to share tips on how he did it!!
