But WOWWWW I'm loving TikTok right now.

I've heard and seen how good the organic reach can be there, but this is especially true when you have the right topic and format.

​One thing I've been doing on this TikTok account is finding and sharing fully funded grad school programs (so far - mostly master's degrees, PhDs, and opportunities for law school).

So I thought, why not go live and share those opportunities with people in real time?!

I know you follow me to learn more about social media, so I'm moreso inviting you to see what I do in real time if you're interested in learning.

While this will be my first time going live on TikTok, I've been going live on social media since 2017.

TIKTOK!!

WHAT A WILD RIDE.

​I started a brand new TikTok account just 2 weeks ago, and I'll be at 5,000 followers before you know it. 10k shortly after that.​

This screenshot is from a couple of days ago.

But since then, a few more videos have gone viral, and I'm pretty sure I'll be at over 5,000 followers by the end of this week.

This is a big deal, too - because once you get to 5,000 followers on TikTok, you're eligible to become a TikTok Shop Affiliate.

And THAT is where you can make some real money from the platform!!

Of course, this is on top of:

• Growing your email list
• Sales for courses and memberships
• Selling on TeachersPayTeachers
• Providing services like consulting and coaching

​Everyday Historian is another project I've been working on for just over a year.​

It DOES have a TPT store to go with it, too... so best believe I'll be sharing how it's all working together!

I got too excited and I just dove right into it (I think that's my whole personality in a nutshell).

For the first time IN YEARS, I'm creating and selling on TPT again - on top of all of the workshops I'm creating for you guys.

It feels so good to have my mojo back.

2024 and 2025, I was doing okay but I also just felt so hopeless about the world.

Now, I've realize the world is going to continue to feel hopeless unless and until I do something about it.

How am I doing that?

Well, helping lovely people like you, of course!! 🫶🏻

But I was really missing being involved in education.

I also just CAN'T SHUT UP. 😆

And it turns out, TikTok loves that!

So I've been documenting my own journey to and through grad school.

But something really changed 2 weeks ago when I decided to share all of the FREE and FULLY FUNDED grad school programs I was finding (turns out there are a ton of them).

I believe nobody should have to pay for higher ed, and, especially now in the U.S., it makes sense why it's doing so well.

What is that one hot take for you?

What is a core belief that you could build your whole brand and business around?

Or, if you've been chomping at the bit to talk about something that DOESN'T fit perfectly with what you've been doing, what is that one thing?!

This might be the confirmation you need to make a TikTok account about it.
