But I'd be lying if I said that social media can't feel like a whole part-time job on its own sometimes!!

I mean, that's why so many people have hired me to run their socials.

Pinterest has always been an interesting platform.

And back in the heyday of blogging, Pinterest used to bring me TENS OF THOUSANDS of blog post clicks every single month.

It's gone through many changes in the past few years.

When the whole Idea Pin thing came around, I kinda gave up on it for a few years.

But now?

It feels like what's old is new and that the glory days are back with it!!

I've been quietly using it to grow a couple of blogs in the background, and I've been really happy with the results.

Right now, I'm actually doing an experiment with it to see if Pinterest could passively grow my Instagram account!!

I'll let ya'll know how that goes.

If you're thinking, "...ugh, another social media platform to manage??" I get it.

But Pinterest isn't actually social media.

It’s a search engine.

When you post on Instagram or Facebook, your content has a "shelf life."

Google IS indexing posts, which is great!! We're getting weeks and months of out short-form posts now.

But on Pinterest, your pins can drive traffic to your products for months or even years after you hit publish.

Why Pinterest is the "Magic" Alternative:
